The United States won a silver medal in the Archery tournament at the Olympic Games in London in 2012. The result was not as good as in the 70s and 80s, when the United States conquered at least a gold medal at each Olympic edition from 1972 to 1988, but it served to bring the Americans to the podium again, absent in 2004 and 2008.
